Paralegal Studies Students March on Washington, D.C.!

Paralegal Studies students Larry Caruso and Victoria Wadowski will be attending the MOVE:DC event being held by Invisible Children in Washington, D.C., on November 17th. Invisible Children is an organization that was founded in 2004 to bring attention to the plight of children in Uganda who have been victimized by Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army. The LRA has terrorized children in Uganda and other central African countries for decades, forcing them to be child soldiers and sex slaves. Invisible Children is determined to see that Joseph Kony is finally brought to justice. The group will be lobbying legislators in Washington with that goal in mind.

We are proud of Larry and Victoria for their activism, and we can’t wait to hear about the march! Check out invisiblechildren.com for more information.
