Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to Speak at Elmhurst College

Justice Sandra Day O’Connor will deliver the Rudolf G. Schade Lecture on History, Ethics and the Law at Elmhurst College on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will take place in the Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel on the Elmhurst College campus. The chapel is located at 190 Prospect Avenue in Elmhurst. Tickets to this event are $10 and may be purchased through the link below:


Justice O’Connor, the first woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court, was appointed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981. She served with distinction for 25 years until her retirement in 2006. President Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from a living legend in the legal field.
