The National Federation of Paralegal Associations has made the application for the 2013 NFPA Thomson Reuters Scholarships available on its website. The application can be found at http://www.paralegals.org/uploads/TR_Scholarship_app_2013.pdf.
Winners will receive a scholarship to be used toward paralegal studies and a travel stipend to attend the NFPA Annual Convention and Policy Meeting in Hartford, CT, in October. An Awards Luncheon will be held on October 5, and the winners will be honored at the luncheon. The deadline for application submission is July 1, 2013. Winners will be notified on or about August 26, 2013. Applicants do not have to be members of the NFPA.
Last year, a student from College of Lake County won $5,000!
