Job Duties:

  • Responsible for assisting attorneys with various aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense matters;
  • Reviewing and prioritizing assignments from various attorneys as they arise;

Seeking part-time, temporary data entry work in a small law office in Wheaton. Must be familiar with Excel. Need someone to come in and work 10-20 hours per week (maybe more as needed) doing data entry project work to help with a class action lawsuit between the hours of 9-5, Monday through Friday. ATMI Precast is looking for a talented and responsible Contract Administrator to join their team.  In this role, the Contract Administrator will negotiate and review various company contracts as well as ensure all contracts conform to legal requirements and meet company goals.  The ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts, coordinating contract billing, identifying high risk contract language, and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the daily administration of contracts
  • Review and redline contracts consistent with Company standards
  • Administer certificates of insurance and ensure jobsite compliance
  • Maintain an audit file for each contract to include all contract correspondence, changes, amendments, and payment schedules
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status; assist Project Managers during contract negotiations
  • Ensure contractor is in compliance with legal requirements and regulations
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms; recommend alternatives to lower Company liability
  • Prepare and submit Waivers of Lien
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described in contracts are met
  • Track contract status from receipt to full execution
  • Perform closing activities
  • Manage accounts receivable billing consistent with contract terms; create, distribute, and follow-up on customer invoices
  • Apply daily cash receipts to appropriate job folder to ensure accounts are current
  • Participate in weekly A/R meetings

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant education preferred
  • Construction Contract management experience preferred
  • Paralegal experience a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to discover potential risks
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Interim Litigation Paralegal – Trial in Delaware

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Providing the highest level of litigation paralegal support to associates and partners;
  • Assisting with case management, strategy, and progression;
  • Utilizing various software applications to manage documents and facilitate the discovery process;
  • Cite-checking, Shepardizing, Bluebooking, and proofreading pleadings and briefs;
  • Pretrial activities including assessing needs for trial and witness books;

  • Minimum of five years litigation law firm experience;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and to work analytically, as well as independently and as a team;
  • Professional demeanor and superb organizational skills;
  • Ability to quickly and proactively identify and analyze problems, develop solutions and deliver results;
  • Available to work overtime regularly and as needed to meet demands of the position;
